Aloinopsis spathulata is one of Komsberg Wilderness Nature Reserve's little gems. It grows on our plateau at an altitude of 5,500ft, surviving -10 degrees centigrade and being covered by snow in winter. Interesting clusters of blue-grey textured leaves with bright pink flowers. Develops a long tap root with age, so best in a deeper 9cm pot. Small but special. Rarely offered by nurseries. 5.5cm pot size.
