'Eyjafjalla' was named after the volcano in Iceland that erupted in 2010, disrupting air traffic across Europe. A modern variety (2011) from Erwin Geiger in Germany. Yes, this sempervivum erupts into colour. Very popular in mainland Europe, so far narrowly missing out on getting the Sempervivum of the Year award. Great colour and excellent shape/form makes this one of the very best of the best. We're delighted to introduce this fantastic sempervivum to enthusiasts here in the UK.
