'Havendijker Teufel' is a newer variety from the Havendijk area of the Netherlands, bred in 2002 by Carlo K.J. de Wilde. Its rich deep red colour and glossy leaves makes this an outstanding variety, as hinted at in our photograph. 'Teufel' translates as "Devil" and we can confirm that it's one hell of a sempervivum.
Please don't be put off by the Dutch/German name. We're sure you'll love it as much as we do. One of the very best of the best.
