'Greyfriars' has extremely good colour and texture, plus beautifully proportioned multi-leaved rosettes. Introduced way back in 1968 by British enthusiast Len A. Earl and given an award by the now-defunct Sempervivum Society in 1975. This attractive variety should be in every collection.
