'Reinhard' is a personal favourite. The Royal Horticultural Society trial judges recognised this as an excellent sempervivum variety by granting it a prestigious Award of Garden Merit following the trials of 2005-2008. Introduced by Martin Haberer (Germany) in 1979. Outstanding emerald green colour with distinctive black tips. It's super-tough, always looks great, and other types contrast well when grown in its company.
