'Sonnenkuss' translates as "Sun Kiss". A beautiful modern variety bred by Erwin Geiger (Germany, 2014). Although this is a small sempervivum, it nevertheless quickly forms an attractive clump by producing a good number of offsets. Whereas many varieties show their best colours in spring or early summer, this type begins as green then changes to its best colours in July/August after being sun-kissed. This is another outstanding sempervivum that we're pleased to introduce to enthusiasts here in the UK.
