'Tintenblut' translates as "Bleeding Ink". This is another excellent modern variety from Erwin Geiger (Germany, 2010). As the name suggests, 'Tintenblut' is a dark coloured sempervivum - effectively "black" at its darkest - but also with an outstanding form. Popular with enthusiasts on mainland Europe, we've demonstrated that it also grows very well here in the UK.
